This is just a note to thank you for your friendship and for visiting me here for the past ten years. I am taking a break for now, and may or may not return. Either way, I will let you know.
I can’t tell you how sad this makes me. Your Poem Farm has been a haven for me and my students for many years. Whatever it is that is calling you away, I hope you will not stay long. But life takes twists and turns and you have to follow your heart. Love you lots.
Your weekly poems brought me such joy. I will miss them, and you. Thank you for bringing poetry into my heart and the hearts of my students. I wish you health and happiness ahead. Please take care and know that your words have made a difference. Thank you.
Oh my goodness, I came to search for a poem and was so sad to see this message. As a fellow teacher, I get it though! This is a tough year and there's no time for anything extra. You have a lucky group of students and I know you'll continue to spread your joy and the poems in your heart in other ways! I'll miss you...I come here often for inspiration.
Amy, in so many ways you have lifted me up. You are one of my "soul poets." Your work is beautiful, uplifting, accessible for children of all ages and your lessons are timeless. We have not met in person, but if there is any way I can be of service to you, please let me know. Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful self.
Amy, I'll miss your weekly poems, but I understand that life changes. I wish you and your family all the best. Thank you for sharing your beautiful poems. They have touched my heart in so many ways. xo Linda
Amy, I'm sorry to see this message--and yet I can imagine all too clearly the feeling that there are now too many things to do them as beautifully and gracefully as you always have. Wishing you much love and peace to go with your wisdom.❤️️💛💚💙💜
Thank you for allowing continued access to your site and your work. I teach for a distributed learning school, and I discovered your site last year. Since then, I've been regularly sharing your poetry with my learners as part of our weekly correspondence - I'm trying to make poetry a normal thing for them, instead of having it be some complicated, "other" thing. All the best to you!
Amy, Thank you for this site! My colleagues (in Dubai) have used your poems to inspire and teach for several years. They are my go-to, as I know I will come across just the right one every time. It is always a pleasure to visit this site, so even if you're taking a break, I thank you for keeping it up and running. It has touched many people - around the world! All the best, Nicky
I want to thank you so much for sharing all of these wonderful poems all these years. Thank you for keeping your blog online for us. My students love the poems I share from here!
